Please read these terms before using our car rental services — self-drive and with-driver.

Last updated: 1st March 2026. These Terms & Conditions govern the rental of vehicles from 1CallCabs.com. By booking or renting a vehicle, the client agrees to comply with the following.

1. General Expenses

The cost of fuel, lubricants, toll taxes, parking fees, traffic fines, and any other expenses related to the proper running of the vehicle during the rental period shall be borne by the client.

2. Responsibility for Damages

The client shall be fully responsible for:

  • Any loss or damage to the vehicle due to accident, collision, theft, fire, negligence, or misuse.
  • Any damage caused to third-party property, persons, or animals during the rental period.
  • Payment of depreciation value where applicable.
  • Rental charges during the period the vehicle remains under repair due to client-related damage.

3. Breakdown & Delays

1CallCabs.com shall not be liable for any loss, delay, injury, or death arising from vehicle breakdown or accidents.

4. Traffic Violations

All traffic violations, challans, penalties, and legal liabilities during the rental period shall be the sole responsibility of the client.

5. Contract Termination

If the client violates any of these Terms & Conditions, 1CallCabs.com reserves the right to:

  • Terminate the agreement without prior notice.
  • Repossess the vehicle from any location.
  • Recover any outstanding dues or damages.

The company shall not be liable for any consequences arising from such repossession.

6. Prohibited Use

The vehicle must not be used for:

  • Any illegal, unlawful, or immoral activity.
  • Political activities.
  • Racing, off-road misuse, or commercial subleasing (unless agreed in writing).

7. Extension of Rental Period

If the client wishes to extend the rental period, prior approval must be obtained at least 24 hours before the original return time. Additional charges will apply as per agreed rates.

Self-Drive Rental Policy

The following additional conditions apply to self-drive rentals:

8. Minimum Rental Duration

Self-drive vehicles are provided for a minimum of 5 days.

9. Advance Payment

  • For self-drive rentals, 100% payment must be made in advance before vehicle handover.
  • Booking can be reserved by paying 20% advance, with the remaining amount payable before delivery.

10. Security Cheque

A valid security cheque is mandatory for all self-drive rentals. The cheque will be returned upon safe return of the vehicle, subject to clearance of all dues and damages.

11. Residential Requirement

  • The client must own a house.
  • If residing in a rented property, the client must provide a valid rental agreement and a guarantor who owns a permanent residence.

12. Guarantor Requirement

A guarantor may be required. The guarantor agrees to be responsible for any violation of this agreement or unpaid liabilities.

13. Foreign Nationals

Foreign nationals must deposit their original passport for verification and security purposes. The passport will be returned upon safe return of the vehicle.

14. Vehicle Condition Acknowledgment

The client confirms that:

  • The vehicle has been inspected at the time of handover.
  • The vehicle is received in proper working condition.
  • Any existing damages have been acknowledged prior to departure.

15. Overseas Clients

Overseas clients may be required to deposit passport copies and additional verification documents as per company policy.

With-Driver Rental Policy

The following conditions apply to with-driver (chauffeur) rentals:

  • Driver meal: Meals for the driver shall be provided by the client during the rental period.
  • Driver duty hours: The driver will provide a maximum of 10 hours duty per day unless otherwise agreed.
  • Driver charges: Driver charges will be paid by the client as agreed at the time of booking.
  • Out-of-city bookings: Bookings outside the city will incur extra charges as per company rates.

Booking Policy

  • Bookings can be confirmed with 20% advance payment.
  • Advance payments are non-refundable in case of cancellation within 24 hours of booking or no-show.
  • Remaining balance must be cleared before vehicle delivery.
