The honest answer is that the daily rate is only part of the price. Whether you drive yourself or take a driver, how many days you need the car, and where you plan to go all change the final quote.
This guide puts our current rent a car Lahore rates in one place, daily and monthly, and then explains what those rates cover, what costs extra, and how to pick the plan that actually costs you less.
Hatchbacks: from PKR 4,000 to 5,000 per day, or PKR 75,000 to 90,000 per month.
Sedans: from PKR 5,500 to 8,000 per day, or PKR 130,000 to 180,000 per month.
SUVs and crossovers: from PKR 10,000 to 25,000 per day, depending on the model.
Vans and coasters with driver: from PKR 15,000 to 25,000 per day for groups of 11 to 27 people.

Sedans are the most booked category for a reason. A Toyota Corolla GLI, Honda City or Yaris handles office commutes, family visits and motorway trips comfortably without a big jump in price. See every option in our sedan cars for rent section.
Families of five to seven usually go for the Honda BRV or a larger SUV. Prado TX and Landcruiser V8 are offered with driver only, which suits weddings, VIP guests and long outstation trips. For groups, the Hiace Grand Cabin and the coasters cost less per person than booking two or three cars.
Most surprises in car rental come from not knowing what sits outside the daily rate. Here is how it works with us, based on our terms and conditions.
With self drive rent a car in Lahore, you pay the rental and handle the running costs yourself:
Fuel, toll taxes, parking fees and any traffic challans during the rental are on the client.
Self drive is offered for a minimum of 5 days, and full payment is due before handover. You can reserve with a 20% advance.
A security cheque is mandatory and is returned when the car comes back safely and all dues are clear.
Insurance is not included in the rate. You can add it at an extra charge, and it covers labour and parts only, without depreciation.
When you book a car with driver in Lahore, budget for these on top of the vehicle rate:
Driver charges: agreed at the time of booking.
Driver food and residence: the client provides the driver's meals and, on overnight trips, a place to stay. If you do not provide them, a charge of PKR 2,000 per day applies.
Duty hours: the driver works up to 10 hours a day unless you agree otherwise in advance.
Running costs: fuel, tolls and parking are client expenses unless your quote says otherwise.
Daily bookings include up to 150 km of running per day. Monthly contracts allow up to 4,500 km per month and one or two outstation visits. Going beyond these limits, or taking a daily booking out of the city, carries extra charges that we agree with you upfront. For longer routes, our outstation car rental service is built for multi-day trips across Pakistan.
If you need a car for more than a couple of weeks, do the maths before booking day by day. Using the rates above:
Suzuki Alto: 30 days at PKR 4,000 comes to PKR 120,000, while the monthly rate starts at PKR 75,000.
Toyota Corolla GLI: 30 days at PKR 5,500 comes to PKR 165,000, against PKR 130,000 per month.
Kia Sportage: 30 days at PKR 11,000 comes to PKR 330,000, against PKR 250,000 per month.
For these cars, the monthly rate matches the daily cost at roughly 19 to 24 days. So if you need the car for around three weeks or more, ask for a monthly quote. Overseas families home for a long summer break, people waiting for a new car and companies with daily staff movement usually save the most with monthly car rental in Lahore.
The number of days, self drive or with driver, and daily or monthly billing make the biggest difference. A short city booking with a driver and a 10-day self drive rental are priced very differently even for the same car.
A trip to Islamabad, Murree or the northern areas adds outstation charges and extra kilometres. Share your full route when you ask for a price so the quote is accurate from the start.
We deliver and pick up across Lahore, including DHA, Gulberg, Bahria Town and Johar Town. Delivery charges may apply depending on the location and time, for example an Allama Iqbal Airport pickup late at night.
If you want to keep the car longer, request an extension at least 24 hours before your return time. Extra days are charged at the agreed rate.
Pick the right size. A sedan is enough for most families of four. Paying for an SUV you do not need adds up fast over a week.

Switch to monthly at three weeks. As the numbers above show, a monthly plan usually beats paying daily past that point.
Inspect the car at handover. Note existing scratches and dents with our team. It protects you from damage disputes later, since repairs are charged at official company workshop rates.
Know the cancellation rules. Advance payments are non-refundable for cancellations within 24 hours of booking or a no-show. Read our cancellation policy before you pay.
The same rates apply to visitors, but self drive needs extra verification. Overseas clients and foreign nationals deposit their original passport, which is returned when the car comes back, and overseas clients may be asked for a valid visa and return ticket or PR card. Many visitors choose a car with driver instead, which only needs a valid ID.
